Why solar for chemical injection?
Many wells that need continuous chemical treatment are far from grid power. Solar removes the cost of running a line, avoids generator fuel runs, and keeps the pump injecting around the clock.
Our pumps use brushless motors (120 watt on the 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" plungers, 300 watt on the 1-1/2") and run on 12/24 VDC, so they pair directly with a solar panel, charge controller, and battery.
Solar data and remote visibility
SpeedGoat reports solar data along with injection status and tank level over cellular, so you can check the power system from the dashboard. A radar tank level monitor is included free with every SpeedGoat. Telemetry carries no monthly fees.

Solar injection skids
For a complete off-grid package, our injection skids combine the tank, containment, solar panel, battery, and pumps on one frame, ready to set at the wellsite.
Sizing the solar system
Panel and battery size depend on pump size, runtime, and your location. Tell us the plunger size, injection rate, and site, and we will recommend a solar package.

Frequently asked questions
Can a chemical injection pump run entirely on solar?
Yes. Simple Injection pumps accept 12/24 VDC solar input and use efficient brushless motors, so a properly sized panel and battery can run the pump continuously.
Does SpeedGoat report solar and battery status?
SpeedGoat includes solar data in its remote monitoring, alongside injection status, alarms, and tank level.
Can I use AC power instead?
Yes. All systems also run on 120 VAC where power is available.
Are solar pumps approved for hazardous locations?
Our pump systems are Class 1 Division 2 certified.
