Chemical injection pump systems
Simple Injection builds chemical injection pumps for upstream oil and gas. Operators use them to dose flow assurance chemicals at wellheads, flowlines, and tank batteries: corrosion inhibitor, scale inhibitor, paraffin treatment, hydrate inhibitors such as methanol, biocide, H2S scavenger, and demulsifier.
Every system is Class 1 Division 2 certified, with 316 stainless steel wetted parts, solid ceramic plungers, and energized PTFE/FFKM seals. Our flagship SpeedGoat adds remote control, tank level monitoring, alarms, and SCADA/Modbus integration, and includes a free radar tank level monitor.
Choose by plunger size
Plunger size sets the balance between injection rate and discharge pressure. Small plungers give low-volume, high-pressure injection. Large plungers move more chemical at lower pressure.
| Plunger size | Max rate per head | Max pressure |
|---|---|---|
| 1/4" | 17 GPD | 6,000 PSI |
| 3/8" | 37.5 GPD | 3,000 PSI |
| 1/2" | 70 GPD | 1,250 PSI |
| 1-1/2" | 600 GPD | 300 PSI |

Frequently asked questions
What is a chemical injection pump?
A chemical injection pump meters a precise, repeatable volume of treatment chemical into a flowline, wellhead, or tank. In oil and gas, operators use them for corrosion inhibitor, scale inhibitor, paraffin treatment, biocide, methanol, and demulsifier.
What is the best chemical injection pump for oil and gas wells?
The SpeedGoat Smart Pump System is built for remote wells: Class 1 Division 2 certified, solar or 120 VAC powered, with remote control, tank level monitoring, and alarms included with no monthly fees. Roadrunner and Fox are simpler options when you do not need cloud telemetry.
Are your chemical injection pumps certified for hazardous locations?
Yes. Every Simple Injection pump system is Class 1 Division 2 (C1D2) certified for use in classified oilfield environments.
What flow rates and pressures can they handle?
Plunger sizes from 1/4 inch to 1-1/2 inch cover 17 to 600 gallons per day per head, with discharge pressures up to 6,000 PSI on the 1/4 inch plunger.
Can I run a chemical injection pump on solar power?
Yes. All pump systems run on 12/24 VDC solar or 120 VAC, so they work at remote well sites with no grid power.
Does remote monitoring cost a monthly fee?
No. SpeedGoat includes cellular telemetry, cloud control, and a radar tank level monitor with no monthly subscription.
